Martin kicks off the New Year 2012 with a new production at the Finborough Theatre of Outward Bound, a play written in the 1920s by Sutton Vane in which Martin plays The Examiner. This is its first London revival in more than 50 years, opening on 31 Jan and running until 25 Feb.

Martin is delighted to be returning to the Finborough again, having had such a success last year, playing Father Kallifer in Graham Greene’s The Potting Shed.

He can also be seen in the new film The Iron Lady with Meryl Streep, playing a Cabinet Minister, Mark Carlisle - the next series of Hustle on BBC 1, playing Sheldon Greyshot - and two more parts in films, due out in 2012, Dr Whittaker in Scar Tissue and Anna’s Doctor in Anna Karenina with Keira Knightly and Jude Law.

His most recent theatre work includes a National Tour of Alan Bennett’s Lady in the Van playing Underwood and Fairchild, and two tours of Charlotte Jones’ Humble Boy for the London Classic Theatre Company, playing Jim the gardener.

He also continues to present his one man play Wellington at various venues, most recently the Barn Theatre Smallhythe. Check out the website for future productions.

Other work includes appearing as the Vicar in Eastenders (the Ricky and Bianca wedding), and the Obstetrician in Garrow’s Law.

A selection of his television work and commercials can be seen on the Clips link page.
